Default loses oil pressure, why?

correct oil vis and oil level, as it runs (5 minutes) the oil is so slow to return to the oil pan that the engine starves for oil. It's in the engine somewhere, thought maybe oil passageways were clogged and oil was sitting on top of heads but not from what I see through oil fill cap. Oil pump is working because it does suck the oil up out of the pan, like I mentioned the oil just doesn't return. Have to let it sit for a few hours till it all drains back from????? Any thoughts or experiance with this one? thanks in advance.

Sludge. Gotta drain the oil, put fresh oil in, drive it for a little, then change it again.
