Default losing wieght on a 3000gt??

what is the best way to get these 3800 lb beast's down in wieght...?? you could help your quarter mile times drastically if you could get down to around 3400-3500 lbs.

Its not a whole lot, but I got a diffrent exhaust system. this one weighs 36lbs, considerably less than the stock system of close to 100lbs. Mine is a single (on an SL) and sounds awesome. I got it for $435 from Monster Performance out of NY. It doesnt look as cool as the dual exit, but it sounds incredible and cuts off close to a 10th of a second.

awwweee...i, guess remove excess weight ( i.e. spare tire,pass. seat and interiror carpet) replace hood w/ carbon fiber.

Take off that thing mitsubishi calls a back seat because it is useless. Take off door panels.

Driveshaft - aluminum of CF
CF hood, fenders, hatch
Aftermarket seats
AC delete
AWS delete
cruise control delete
Active aero delete, or just remove the front if you still want the spoiler
gut the trunk
aftermarket exhaust
lighter wheels
lighter tires
aluminum flywheel
lighter battery
remove the crash bars and rear tow hooks
convert to 1st gen brakes, or NA brakes
only have 1/4 tank of gas
loose some weight if your fat

You could also remove all the sound deadening matteral
oh, and the ABS

lolz...yeah loose some weight if your fat. sometimes body fat play's a big role too.

If you don't mind stripping your car completely from the interior. You can just perform a full weight reduction 'procedure'. I think its take everything out of the car that you don't need to drive.

If you just want it for fun, you can sacrifice the stereo, and A/C.
