Hi, my brother owns a 3KGT (non-vr4) mid-model I believe and has been getting an engine lights that lights up under his "fasten seat belts" light- looks like a half empty box with a spout on the right top corner of it. Would you know what this is?

Or even better would you possibly own a '93 owner's manual? My brother bought his used and the dealership only gave him '96 manual which doesn't always match-up. I know I'm asking alot, but it would really help him out if you could spare a few scans of the check engine lights section.

Also on my MX-6 I have a diagnostic node where you can stick a paperclip in it and get your error codes for your vehicle without paying someone with a computer to run it all. Does the '93 3Kgt have such a feature? If so, where is it located and where could I find a reference list to show how to read it all?

 

Either the window washer fluid or the coolant level for the trouble light. As for diagnosing ECU codes, go here and search for it. One thing you will need is a ANALOG volt meter. I digital one will not work.
