Default Which one?

Hey, If i buy a 92 VR-4 motor, should i do a swap with my 94 DOHC base, or should i just take off all the turbo parts off the 92 motor and bolt it on my 94 motor?? The motor is like 2500.

if you swap the partsto theN/Athe compression ratio is10:1and you will be limited on boost to prevent detonation (knock) but will have less lag.

and if you swap the motors the VR-4 you can run higher boost than with your N/A and the motor is more forgiving to a boost spike than the N/A will, and since this isa 8:1you have more room for error as far as tuning goes.

IMO. i would swap motors and sell the N/A and get some money for other supporting mods like a boostgauge, a better clutch, turbo timer, boost controller, LSD, wideband, s-afcII, Walbro 255 (or stock VR-4 pump), exhaust, etc. . .

Aren't the rods/crank a little weaker in the NA engine as well?
