popping out of gear

Default popping out of gear

Hi all my 1995 3000 starting making a noise and now it poped out of thir gear and when i go to slow down the whole car like jumps If anyone has any ideals then please post asap.

Sounds like a bad syncro, but make sure you check the fluid, check the linkage and its adjusted properly.

sounds like what my 1993 3000gt was doing... had it rebuilt and needed a new 3rd synchro., new 3/4 fork and a new 3rd gear.... gotta love being friends with guy @ tranny shop.. had it done fer under $400

Yeah sounds like a syncro to me, the popping outta gear thing. That's what it usually is

you might check your shift lever before you go tearing into your tranny. i've had that problem and it was in the linkage not the tranny.
