Default Problems with acceleration.

Hello all, I am the second owner of a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000gt. At the time of the purchase it was not running and needed a new fuel pump and alternator, but I got it cheap so I figured I could fix it up without going over a certain price margin. Well after replacing those parts the car worked!

The car, however; does not accelerate properly. On ignition and about 2-3 minutes afterwards it runs very smoothly. After that it starts to stutter and accelerates slowly but after it reaches around 20-30 mph it starts to run fine until the next stop.

Any help would be appreciated.

p.s. I've had 6 of the fuel injectors replaced.

plugs and/or wires.

use ONLY the factory stuff when replacing them. None of this "pulse plug" or "performance" wire garbage.

Stick with Denso or NGK platinum plugs. Definitely check your plugs and see if you have some Bosch plugs in there. If you do, that is definitely your problem.
