Default Question on Clutch

I have a 1994 3000gt (stock with some modifications) and the clutch went out, would replacing it with a stage 1 racing clutch make it perform better than just a stock clutch or would it do anything else like better torque or shifting?

Thanks,
Mike

if u buy a racing clutch the only difference is your clutch will be able to handle more horse power and you will be able to drive on it harder. i put a stage three on my vr4 and i didnt notice a difference other then how it engages

Default RE: Question on Clutch

Well stage one dosent actually mean anything

Stages are simply aplicable for ONE company. One companys stage one clutch might be able to handle 400hp and another companys stage one only 300. Stage dosent mean anything at all.

The only difference will be in the pedal pressure/point of engagement.
