Default Recall?

OK heres the deal, ran my 96 3000gt on carfax, and it came out clean as expected, there is however a recall issued number C0204M emissions, called the local contact at the dealership, and he has scheduled me for service to do the recall after Christmas,it supposedly reprograms the ECM....how is this going to effect the driveability of the car???

Default RE: Recall?

it doesnt reprogram anything.

there was a software glitch that may mean to signal the "check engine" light to come on, but doesnt. If thats the case, you get a new PCM.
thats it. It effects nothing other than allowing you to correctly have your emissions tested, as it may fail otherwise.
