ok so i was doing a few runs out in the country and, in the forest.. after my first, and second runs, i spelled something funny, i checked it out and, smoke was comming out of the muffler. the car was in neutral, and idleling. it would do this for a minute at least then it would stop and everything would be fine. i'm just curious if this is common or not for 3kgt. i just did a oil change etc.. im thinking i might have put too much oil? any suggestion would be greatly apreciated.

 

You think you overfilled the oil..? Check it first. What color was the smoke; white, black, bluish? How hard did you run it?

 

the smoke was blackish.. i ran it about 6000rpm on 1/2/3 gear... ever since, everytime i push the car smoke always comes out. and yes i checked the oil it looked to be over by a cm only, would that be the reason of the smoke comming out?

 

it could be fuel getting into your cylinders...has your mileage gone down?

Be more specific man.

Basically your running rich for some reason. Under hard acceleration all turbo cars will put out a little black smoke.. .but not at idle.
