Default Soft Clutch

My clutch started to get soft this past monday, and i dont know why? By thursday, my clutch totally went out, i couldnt put it in any gear at all. I put in some brake fluid, and pumped the clutch and it started to work again. But it's still soft. Have you guys have this problem before?? If so, was there a leak and where was it?

Yea but when mine got that soft it was cuz the master and slave cylinder blew up lol which fried the clutch....so I dunno if you need fluid for those or what but that could be part of the problem? How much whp are u putting down on the dyno cuz u should check that out since ur 3kgt is supercharged right? If that is the truth then u might not have the right clutch for the job. I don't know if this reply helps any but i hope so. Peace!

I had the same problem with my 98 3000 it was my master cylinder then soon my clutch. I upgraded it with a stage 2 from 3sxperformance.com it was kinda cheap. check it out.

You must bleed the air out of the lines before it will work properly.Find the leak, fix it,and bleed the air out of the line just as you would if it were a brake system. If you had to add fluid into youre clutch master cylinder, its leaking out somewhere, could be the master cylinder itself, line,or slave cylinder.Once the air is removed from the line, youre clutch pedal should feel normal again,if it still feels "spongy" and youre sure all the air is out of the system,Id suspect the master cylinder...
