Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

They could have the same stupid resistor in the ECU like the DSMs had, couldnt they?

I didn't mean to come off rude...but in all the years I've researched these cars, poured over the manuals, read 3si and just about any other info site on the platform on the internet...I think at least once someone would have mentioned the need to remove the speed limiter.

What gear are you in when it loses power?

I'm usually just shifting into 4th gear at that speed...

OK GUYS...lol f.y.i. i was just checking for about 3 hours and it is only on the japanese (GTO's) ones that there is a ~120mph speed limiter. it has multiple sensors and really the only feasable way to beat it is to buy a plug in defencer...like the HKS Speed Limit Defencer (Type I) that i just bought on ebay :-D FAT TICKETS HERE I COME! W00T! HAHAH
