I had my 3kGT towed to get fixed. For some reason or another the tow driver took my sunroof off and placed it on his flat bed. When he drove off it fell off on the highway and shattered. I need to know iff anyone knows where I would be able to look to get a new sunroof for a 95 3kGT. Thanks in advance.

 

[:@] Sorry to hear that man!! I would have the tow truck driver buy you a new one from the dealership!! As far as where to get one your best bet is to check ebay for anyone parting out one. If not the only other place I know is the dealership (prepare to give your first born, and ability to have anymore children), or a salvage yard. I don't know the cost of the glass but the two weather seals, if you have to replace will run you approx 200 (I had to replace my seals). Hope any of this helps.

 

i would pursue legal action after the tow truck driver. how the hell did he take it off? i dont think that mine even comes off without a great deal of effort. i would check around some salvage yards if the tow truck driver wont do anything.

 

I will check E-Bay. But as fas as checking Salvage yards I already did and none of them have 3000gt or any sunfoor I can get.

 

thats a stupid tow truck driver. We got a towing company to pay for a whole new paint job on the dakota. We broke it at the sand dunes and had to have it towed home. When we got home, the magnet lights he used moved around so much it scratched the paint to bare metal and he broke the roll pan. Luckily for us, my boyfriends dad is a lawyer and was ready to take legal action, but the towing company gave us $2000 in cash to get it fixed, lol

 

There is an company called Cianci Performance that makes a carbon fiber replacement for sunroofs.
