i would suggest that you just go out and buy a twin turbo gt. youll prolly spend more getting your sl right. and besides. ive seen a technition try it already. it didnt work now the car is scrap metal. im not saying it cant be done but i wouldnt suggest it. besides they made the vr4 all wheel drive for a reason.

 

WTF are you talking about a TT swap has bee done wuite often and we actually have a member here who has done it to his own SL

 

Yeah I wouldnt even try a tt swap. Its been tried dozens of times. All the cars blow up........ cats and dogs living together..... its mayhem!

Ok, sorry lol..... Yes you can do it. Its been done by alot of people, It will be reliable if you do it right, and tune it right. Check out 3SI, under the na to forced induction thread. Mine has been going now for over 20,000 miles boosted and still running strong.

 

Well, you'll spend the same amount of moneyas buying a VR-4/Stealth TT.

I heard that TT swap on a SL is kind of complicated....

 

Ya but way more fun then just buying a vr-4 already done.

 

i say do the tt swap and enjoy the car. plus to find a good vr-4 might be harder and more expensive. especially if you go into the newer models.

 

Well if your interested Ive got a 93 VR4 TT that got hit in the side and cant be fixed as far as body work...but the motor/trans and all the all wheel stuff is fine, pretty much a great donor car, plus the front clip wasnt even touched so there's tons of things under the hood you can use. Let me know
