does any one know if you can run a non turbo ecu in a turbo car just to test the car for a misfire that could be caused by a bad ecu.

 

if you want to cause more problems.

open up the ecu. if it looks burned or melted or funky in any way, then send it to www.avproecm.com and they'll rebuild it for $250 and give you a lifetime warranty.

a misfire is most likely something to do with your plugs, wires, fuel filter/pump, etc.
