Mitsubishi 3000GT During it's production run, and after, the 3000GT was a pure sports car offering forced induction and all wheel drive, as well as smooth aerodynamic styling.

You don't have to have the AWD tranny, but it is a beefier unit than the FWD tranny. You will need to weld the VCU on the AWD tranny for it to work. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not weld a working VCU. They do not make them anymore, and from what I understand the are not rebuildable either. Post a thread on 3si inquiring about a bad one, those can welded and will work fine for a FWD application.

Well I did not know that you can use the transission from a n/a for a tt swap to a vr engine I just figures since the enging is different so should the tranny. But Im really interested in wanting toswap out one of my engines to a vr4 if i but that car.

The tranny will bolt up. The FWD transaxle's have been known to come apart if a LSD isn't used though...

Yeah im checking out the car tomorrow or next weeks hes going to call me tomorrow but if all gos good im buying the car next week hopefuly but tomorrow im going to call some car garages and all and see how much it will cost but we will see but ill ask them all these question that we are talking about

is you wanted to put down another $400 or so then you could just get anewer jdm engine with around 30k miles instead of paying $1400 for a vr4 with 113k miles or whatever if all you want is the engine

Well when a mechanic takes a car they have what is called a mechanics lean on it, if it is not paid in such and such a time he can legally get paperwork for it. All mechanics know this.

I personally would be leary of it for anything but parts. Nothing like buying a car then having it taken away because it was stolen.
