I am hoping someone will be able to send some advice my way.

My 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante will not start, it does turn but it just does not start. I was sure it was the fuel pump since i could not hear it run, after replacing the pump i realized i may have just wasted $200.

So, i replaced the fuel pump, i have spark on plugs, timing belt is not broke, battery is good, one thing i could not find is the relay for the fuel pump. I do not have the manual and none of the fuses are marked for fuel. I also tried putting gas and starter fluid in intake but that just made it worse, now when i try to start it it just makes this wired flat noise.

Any help and advice will be very appreciated.

I just took the spark plugs out and the first 3 were covered in oil/gas and the other 3 under the exhaust manifold were soaked in oil... I hope this is not serious.

hey i jus stumbbled on tis site as i was looking for info,ur fuel relay is on passngr side right floor panel,aftr removin panel youll c a large squar coppr box approx 8'' by 9'',on the bottom of that copper box (ECM) ther will be a littel copper box wit one plug harness plugged into it approx 3'' by 2'' thats ur relay......................sorry so brief im n a hurry,if u need more help pleas email me,i jus recieved the chilton manual for thes cars,JUS SOME ADVISE SALE IT, ASAP
