CEL p0170
My g/f's grandfathers 99 diamante has a check engine light p0170 I was going to replace the bank 1 o2 sensor but I am not 100% which is bank one and tried searching and found no straight answer. Any help is appriciated.

You must have 2 I think but not sure
Bank 1 means probably near the engine. Bank 2 I think it is catalyctic converter.
if you have more 4 of them THEN I DON'T KNOW. 2 in the engine and 2 in the exhaust I think Tech will know
If it's Bank One CHECK MAF or Manifold you must have an air leak.
Fix it as soon as possible brokenO2 sensor might damage your car.
if you cant wait anymore buy the parts from Auto Zone. I think they sell BOSCHE O2 sensor for cheap but if you want Mitsubishi it will be more expensive

I recommend to buy a new o2 sensor. if the CEL lights up again after cancelling it.
You might have another problem.
Do you have SRI or CAI? check the boot that is holding the pipe on the engine. it might be loose.
tighten it, check MAF it it's broken.
