Please could someone help me? I have a 1994 Diamante station wagon and all I know is that it is a V6 3.0L MPI(?) automatic. I am trying to purchase a part online and all of a sudden I am presented with two engine types,first #1-3.0L 297cc 181cid V6 FI (s) SOHC then the other is #2-3.0 297cc 181cid V6MFI(h)(6G72)SOHC.

How do I tell which one is mine?

look at the car tag on the firewall

 

OK so I went and looked in my engine compartment and found these numbers on the tag. Engine:Y7-6672 then there were these numbers on the bottom of the tag,3.0 v86AEA.

So how do I know which engine it is?

 

I bet it's the second one for some odd reason.....
