Default Strut mount help and door issues

Working with a '97 diamante that has a rusted out rear strut mount. Where can I purchase a replacement? I have been to all the auto parts stores (advance, o'reillys, autozone, pep boys) and all have a rear strut mount listed but it is only the rubber bushings with washer and not the mount itself that bolts in. I can't find it anywhere and would hate to have to put a junkyard part in. I'm needing 2 of them so I can replace all the work rearend stuff. Thanks.

Also, have a passenger rear door that won't open and a driver rear door that won't close. Any common issues with the lock mechanisms or actuators?

Since its been a week and I'm having no luck finding these parts, I'm curious if there are other things that I won't be able to find as well because this is rediculous. Just got the car a week ago and sure would be nice to drive it.

Still no luck. As a last resort I even tried a couple junkyards. Only mounts I found were rusted out.

This site had been a great help. I suppose I'll take the rear mounts off again this weekend an see if I can weld a plate to where yhe bushings go since that area is completely missing. Once i get it back together, car will be for sale since this is rediculous to not be able to find parts for such a mass produced vehicle. Then back to the hunt for another reliable car.

We were only able to find the strut top mounts at the dealer for $25 each for a 2001 Diamante.

no sh*t. The mount is part of a unibody vehicle. That ****'s fabrication and welding. Its not a part to be swapped (wtf is up with that yank attitude??)
year old post...
Kindof your own fault for not noticing that sh*t, too.

Have an account from Ebay or Amazon, most of junkyards selling their stuff among those online markets. Try to search from those first and you will see the abundant parts you need. Good luck!

Akzle, I'm a bit puzzled by your last response mentioning, "wtf is up with that yank attitude??". Who are you talking about and why? Did I say something that offended you? If so, I apologize but would really like to know what was so offensive by what anyone posted on this topic.
