i have this problem with my truck its not the battery or the alternator --------------they are brand new -----i dont want to keep on on guessing so please help me out -it happens some times only im driving the truck and when i turn it off and want to turn it on it does not make a sound no lights no horn not even the doors open .....nothing at all shows signs of power......i have to wait several minutes for it to just come back to life...please help me out on what it could be and its not someting loose

 

it is in fact most likely a loose, corroded, or generally terrible connection at one of the battery terminals.

 

I doubt it is basic electrical. Sounds more like a problem in a computer module. Even a loose battery connection wouldn't cause an immediate shutdown. I'd suggest having it hooked up and checked for failure codes logged in the system.
