Default Hatch / Trunk release malfunction

The hatch nor the trunk can opened from the outside. This problem started with the unintentional unlocking of both units--more to do with an electrical malfunction. Any hints on how remedy this problem?

Default What year is yours?

Mine is a 2004 and it just quit working one day last week. Then, Sunday morning on my way to church, my interior lights just came on like a door was opened. My 8 yr old thought she had not closed her door all the way, so she reclosed her door. Lights still on. As she closed her door, I heard that all too familiar sound of the rear hatch glass vibrating. I get out, walk to the back, and the glass is not locked down. I close the glass, check the door and voila, it opens like nothing was ever wrong.

I like the Endeavor, but it sure has some quirkiness to it.
