I believe there is a daytime light relay somewhere in the system. Check the wiring diagram for that.

I love how someone likes to call this a safety device. It is most certainly not. This isn't Canada. We don't have perpetual nighttime in the winter. There is no need for this asinine device. The fact that someone wants to get rid of daylights is a personal choice. What I find ridiculous is that just running the parking lights makes your car more visible, but it's illegal to do so. Daylights are annoying and affect the vision of other drivers. They are distracting. And it's govt interference in our lives.

LOL, not a safety device? Maybe try reading some source BESIDES wiki, a valid rescource would be nice. Next we'll hear how it increases gasoline consumption to use them too lol. Any gas consumption increase will NEVER be noticed at the pump or in your pocket. The torque increase required to turn the alternator to power the lights is minuscule, if your worried about it, keep your radio and all other electronic devices off too (note: GM quoted a total operational costs of $3 a year in gas to power the lights). I wont quote accident reduction percentages or anything so, back to the question, i dont know how to turn them off. Personally I wouldnt want too, i honestly dont trust all the morons out there driving on the road and one little thing to make me more visible to the morons is one more little accident avoided. The key is, they are distracting, like dude said, and that means, they NOTICE you!!!

anyone who doesn't notice a two tonne vehicle, travelling at 60mph, while they're ON A ROAD (it's hardly a f*cking surprise, is it),
*probably* just *probably*, shouldn't be on the road.

setting the bar so low that morons are acceptable is a f*cking joke.
