Default Clarification Needed on Oil Capacity for My Vehicle

I'm looking for some advice on the oil capacity for my car. I have a [insert your car's make, model, and year], and I'm about to do an oil change. I've checked the manual, but I'm still a bit unsure about the exact oil capacity, especially considering the filter change.

Should I follow the manual's suggestion, or has anyone here had a different experience? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
