New member. Just purchased a 2007 MitsuiMits Endeavor with no known issues. Today I started it and it struggled to start, as well as had a flapping noise. The car was shuddering so I turned it off, waited a few minutes, and then tried starting it again. It whined and wouldn't start, so I turned it off. Opening the hood I did not see anything and after trying to start again, there was a slight smell and it struggled to start again but finally did. I have no clue what may be the problem to diagnose before I try to take it to a mechanic. Any suggestions?
