Hello I just bought a 2008 AWD Endeavor that has been running good.. however this am our remote for the garage door battery was dead .. I opened my fob and tried the battery ( didnt work) ended up running toi the store and getting one for the garage ..I drove to work and the fob came apart in the dark on gravel I picked up the pieces put them in my pocket.. and now at lunch my car wont start? I had a jump from a friend didnt help at all.. I ve tried piecing th fob back together which no longer operates any of the functions in the car.. my question is could my broken fob be preventing my car from starting?
