So i lost my key to my 04 endeavor xls, and the ignition lock was damaged. So i install a used steering column from the same model endeavor. Will the key from the new/used steering column be able to be programmed to the vehicle?

 

Possible... Did you get the keys,etc. from salvage column? Immobilizer' ring'?
Dealer here in Maryland,used to get $150 to program keys - 3 yrs. ago... who knows how much now.
Some 'roving' locksmiths charge $125.
> I urge you to be cautious about attempting to do it yourself, because : You can damage the "timing" ECU that controls immobilizer,alarm, etc.
> I tried that route and had to get a salvage ECU and pay for reprogramming!
