Anyone have any idea how to fix these issues or resources that will help me? Is it something I can do myself (as a n00b?)

Very strange issue with door locks: when I unlock the doors, then open them, the alarm goes off until I press the unlock button again on the remote, still the doors are not all unlocked until I press the door unlock button on driver door.



Also: Seems that the air is always on, doesn't turn off and the A/C button is always lit in blue.

 

First, try replacing the remote battery.
> Are you pushing 'unlock' once or twice initially? Twice to unlock 'all'.
> Are you waiting more than 20-30 seconds before opening door/handle? Car is set to 're-lock' if not in that time frame...
If none apply/remedy, a "reset" of remote/keys/immobilizer probable. > Dealer or reputable locksmith.

A/C 'on' ; do you have controls on Defrost/partial ? If so, A/C will activate most times. Depending on outside temp, can de-activate by pushing A/C button.
