ams 2.6 stroker or ams stage 1 kit cantr decide. and if i get the stroker what can i expect. i.e. horsepowewre tourque. motor is bone stock. trying to build a 450 to 500 hp car and this will be my first step. open to all comments

 

450-500HP DOES NOT NEED A BUILT MOTOR lol.

stock motor is good till 530HP or so. my car will be making just under 450hp on pump and should make around 500 on race gas. and I got a Turbotrix BB50trim turbo going in the car to do that. and all the other supporting mods to go with it. dont buy a motor not yet

 

can u suggest a guide line for me to follow to achieve a good 400-550 whp. i got about 10g

 

oh and i meant a 2.3

 

I agree with EMonz, pick up a good BB 50 trim kit. I also had one from Turbotrix. I went with thier 2.3 stroker kit too and meth injection. I was putting 475whp and 476 tq to the wheels and the car drove like stock when I wasnt getting on it. Also had ACT clutch and flywheel, 264, 272 cams and adj cam gearsand a few more goodies. I would recommend that kit, which also happens to be the build that Emonz is doing to anyone.

 

10G will do that easy.. But you need to know what you want. you changed you range of HP the second time around.
I got about $7-8k into mine total once I get the car tuned and it should be inbetween 400-500hp depending on the gas used

 

bro just go w/ the kit that FOG and Emonz are talkinga bout. FOG is putting over 600 to the wheels in his EVO and Emonz is putting down apx 450 very soon. they know their cars and know what mods will do what.

 

i know this may sound dumb. but can anyone give me a list of what they have to achieve their 400-500 whp. its just that their are so many things to chose from that i am constantly changing my mind on what to use. dont worry i wont jock u guyz completely i just wanna get an idea. try not to laugh, iknow many many years ago you guys were newbies
