Evo Flash - Europe.

Evo Flash - Europe.
From what i can understand the recommended flashers - Vishnu, Works, Dynoflash are all situated in the USA. Therefore if I send my ECU to the USA, I'll have considerable down time. Anybody know of good Evo flashers in Europe?

That is true...
(btw, I've found out that in Europe the GSR EVO IX is 280HP not 286, but what exactly the difference is... that's beyond me.)
However, there seem to be no big established flashers out here. Can somebody tell me what is it that Vishnu is offering exactly. They say that you can buy a XEDE with a cable to a laptop from them, can that be used in such a way that I wouldnt need to mail in my ECU?

maybe they would do one of two things. either they will build a custom tune for you based on what you tell them and email it to you then all youll need to do is plug in the laptop into the cable to the car and upload the flash in, OR they are saying you have the software and buid you own flash for the car which I would not recommend

There is also another option which I went with. You can download ECUFlash and then purchase a cable to connect from your laptop to your PC. Then you have an XEDE but it's much cheaper. Once that's done you can buy maps from JestrTuning for around $200.00 and then have a tuned Evo. What's cool is you can log a run in your Evo (monitoring a/f ratios, knock countand boost) and then send the log with your map back to JestrTuning and they will optimize the map for you.
