Default Quick clutch question

I'm really not sure if this has been discussed already, and I'm in a rush to get to the airport.
But I just need to know if the 06 Evo IX MR flywheele and clutch would work in a 05 GSR.

My buddy bought an 05 GSR with a slipping clutch and just needs to get an OEM replacement till he can save and get an Exedy.
He found a used OEM off a Evo 9 MR, just need to know if it works before I give him the ok.

Thanks,

Mike

Yeah, they are the same for the most part. But what do you think about the 6 spd vs the 5 spd?

Or is that not really taken into consideration when looking at the clutch and flywheel?

Hey guys, just t be a 100% sure about the flywheels for the 5 and 6 speed, I called Mitsu.

The part numbers are the same for the 05 GSR 5spd and 06 MR 6spd.

I already knew that the clutches were the same, so now the identical part number confirms that the flywheels are the same for 5 and 6 speed Evo's.

part # is nd373136
