Default Tuning Technologies

I took my car to Tuning Technologies over the weekend toget a custom tune for my 91 octane map andanothertunefor theAquamist HFS-1 map.My carmanaged to put down 448hp on my Aquamist map (28psi)and 390hp (23psi)on my 91 octane map (I have map switching installed). I was quite pleased with the fact that the staff at Tuning Technologies went over everything very thoroughly and didn't leave any potential problems undiscussed.

great numbers but 23psi on 91 pump is not very safe IMO but that is me. I hope they added alot of timing in there to compansate for that, im sure they had to of otherwise your knocking like a ****

Nice, very impresive numbers.

Now with the map switch, you are able to toggle between 23 and 28 PSI?

Emonz, I did a few logs yesterday and I have no counts of knock on my tune. I also have a setup so when I get 3 counts of knock or more my CEL light flashes slowly and when I get 10 or more counts of knock it will flash quickly; so far no flashing has occurred.

With the map switching there are separate timing, boost, and fuel maps so yes, I can toggle between 23psi and 28psi. I might be able to get a little more boost out of the aquamist map but in order to do that I'm going to need to get direct-based boost control which I'm looking into next.

Now that is impressive. Imagine what you could do with 93?

They must have played alot with the timing. 23PSI is boarderline on 93 forget 91. Obviously they tune cars and everyone tunes differently but that high boost on 91 would scare the **** out of me for high load pulls

the HP figures would hardly change between 91+meth and 93+meth. your looking at like 10-20HP. His numbers are right on par with what his setup should make , basically it is a 50trim type setup just quicker spool and slighly less power output.

If I am not mistaken the 50trim flow 51 lbs/min and the FPgreen flow 49 lbs/min or somewhere in there. the green is a great "cali" turbo too. looks close to stock spools close to stock and make high power
