whats better than an Evo

RE: whats better than an Evo
thats not true. It depends what your matching it up doing. straight line there are tons of cars that compete. The corners there are other cars that compete.
The WRX STi is not that much of competition when it comes to being more than stock.

Yes that is true but in the world of Marketing and Auto Review.
The Subaru and Evo are the only 2 carsthat are compared with each other in Rally eventandin Sales.
The competition of the 2 cars will last forever as long the 2 car manufacturers make each other car perform better that the other.

Both of you are right, the STI is one of the well known competitors for the Evo as far as enthusiasts and magazine publishers go. There isn’t much 4 door sedans that are capable of what these cars do…..and no the MazdaSpeed6 isn’t ready. However, there are a lot of cars that will compete with the Evo in cornering & straight line acceleration and speed. I’m convinced that buying a car to match the Evo’s handling capabilities would be a bit more expensive. But I honestly wouldn’t consider the STI as a replacement although they are often compared. In my case, I didn’t just buy an Evo due to the typical “it’s fast” reason.
But the point is that the STI is well known for comparison but there are many that will compete as well.

There aren't many cars that can compete with the Evo in all aspects... if you like a comfortable ride... the Evo won't be the car for you, if you want a car with strong paint that won't chip easily.. the Evo DEFINITELY isn't for you lol, if you want a car with a good interior then it's also not for you... BUT the better part is that it's an AWD BEAST with simply a 4 cylinder that most cars with even V8's and Turbo'ed V6's can't compete with. It's a 4 door so it's very versatile when it comes to having a few friends hop in... or even if you have a family. It's AWD so when it snows or rains you don't have much to worry about, but other cars that have already been mentioned do. It's not great on gas, but it's decent if you drive it decent. It's very responsive to mods and a pretty durable car as well, the performance when it comes to suspension is second to none and even if a car can hang with it in a straight line, the first turn you take, they'll be going a long way back in a hurry. There really isn't much that can hang with an Evo in overall performance, but there are a few of the issues mentioned above that might turn one off to it.
