Hi all, got a 01 V6 galant and need to replace dist cap and rotor, looking foer some tip, seems to be buried pretty good. I have a missfire in cyl 1 and was told it is arcing out in tha cap, mieneke wanted $700 to do a full tune up but hoping the cap and rotor will take care of it for now until the rest can be done. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

 

gap your plugs.
Take old cap off. Take rotor off. Put new rotor on. Take leads one at a time off old cap and match positions on new cap.
