Default alternator help needed

I already have a capacitor, and the amplifier is not the problem. I have found that even with the subwoofers completely disconnected, my interior lights still dim when I turn up the volume on my head unit. (alpine) I have heard that these cars are specifically designed for the electronics that they come with and when you add something, it can really make a big difference. If anyone can help with this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks,

Yeah, that's tue, adding a component won't screw up anything major, just the small stuff(interior lighting, maybe headlights and high beams). You can try switching to a higher output alternator, but i dunno where you can get one. Did you check out 3SI.org? they may have something there that can help you.
