Default 1977 Plymouth colt

I got a 1977 plymouth colt with a 4g32 1.6l motor in it and I have no idea where to start. Is it worth it to build this 90hp motor or should I see to swap another motor in it? If yes, which motor would be the best bang for buck? I'm new to the mitsubishi scene as you may see.
