Can anyone advise on why my 2000 galant idles at approximatelt 2000-2500 rpm's in park and neutral. I get a check engine lite every four or five days and it says idle air controller. Dealer says lets start with the intake manifold as it looks broken (his words not mine). Can a leaking intake manifold cause this issue? Its seems to have a crack around the throttle body flange. I have disconnected the iacv and it does not affect anything. Help. Thanks

 

Problem solved. BISS screw had backed almost all the way out.
