2000 Mitsubishi galant 2.4 liter
I was driving to work one day in my galant when it started misfiring and running really rough. I took it home and tried everything I could to get it back to running properly. It seemed like a fuel problem and thought maybe it was the fuel filter. Ce to find out the filter is in the tank with the fuel pump. So I decided to change that. The car hasn't ran since. It just starts and then dies. I finally did a compression test and found that I had some bad valves in one of my cylinders. I pulled off the head, took it to a machine shop and had it fixed. I put it back on thinking that I had solved the problem but then I started it up and it just died. I can't figure out what the hell is going on. I've changed my computer, the coils, new plugs and wires, the fuel pump, cam sensor, crank sensor, timing belt, fixed the broken valves, MAF sensor, everything I can think of but it still just starts and dies with no trouble codes. The only thing I noticed after replacing the head was a little green light on the dash of a car with a key in it. But it only turned on two times in the fifteen or twenty times I tried starting it. I'm thinking possibly the key is bad but would that make the car start and then die? If anybody can help me out with this I would highly appreciate it. Thanks
