Question 2005 Galant ES Brake Pedal and Lever

Brake pedal is soft and reaches the floor unlike my brother's Nissan Sentra's brake pedal. It is indicated on the manual that brake pedal should just be around 4cm from un-pressed position to pressed position. But the brake pedal in my car I think exceeds that measurement.

If I am not mistaken, there was this time when I asked the dealer to adjust the brake pedals because it was soft. It went to firm like if measured follows the measurement stated on the manual. But after some time I have been driving with soft brake pedals.

And the parking brake lever according to the manual should only have around 4 clicks when pulled if I am not mistaken. But the lever goes really high; almost same height as the radio pocket's location.

And I remember the time when I forgot to push down the brake lever. I drove with the parking brake lever pulled up.

I am the second owner of the car buying it with a very low mileage - 15k miles I think. The brake pedal and the parking brake lever were soft and high when I bought the car from the dealer.

Is there something wrong with my car?
