Default Adjusting Idle

I have a 2000 Galant, it makes a rattling noise whenever I'm on the brakes but it's in drive. I think I just need to turn the idling up a little bit which I know it's adjusting some kind of basic idle setting screw but I have no idea how or where that is. HELP!

If it makes a rattling noise when ever you're on the brakes, you need to go to a brake shop and get it looked at.

You may have a vacuum leak.
