Is there a way I can obtain the serial number of my car radio without having to go thru the process of removing the radio from the dash?? I have a 2001 Galant--thx

 

The technicians here at our dealership pry the bezel up at top of radio (the dash bezel) carefully so not to crack bezel. Then with a flashlight peek in thru space made. I stress be careful not to pry to much or you might braek dash bezel. Worth a try.

 

if yours has the cubby under the HVAC controls it just pops straight out. there are 2 tabs that radio bracket sits in just push up and the radio and bracket comes out as an assembly. mine was so easy i can do it while driving down the road
