[:@]I went go gas up today and just as i was PLANNING on leaving the 01 galant had different plans. car will turn over everything sounds fine just wont start. I think it is electrical. Relays or fuse somebody help me. Thanks.

 

Check all fuses.

 

Check to see if you have spark and fuel.

 

i think all the fuses are ok, just got done checking them. how do i check if i have spark and fuel? i replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump about a month ago.

 

Hold the throttle while trying to start it, then pull a spark plug out.. and see if its wet. Wet = fuel

Spark, take a spark plug out... connect it to the spark plug wire.. .and turn the engine over while someone holds it.... look for a spark... or just hold it

 

yerr!!! k so i took the plugs out and i have a spark. i cant smell gas so i am thinking it must be a fuel problem. any ideas?

 

Try spaying a can of 2+2 in the intake and see if it runs for a little ,but but sounds like you havea bad fuel pump.

 

Thats a great idea, spray carb cleaner into the throttle body when startng it.
