Cigarette Lighter keeps blowing my fuse
First time posting here, over four years of ownership and I have never had to drop a cent into this car. Other than the obvious fluid and brake changes.
Now I had some issues with this in the past, it would randomly blow after a few months so I just swapped it out. Now whenever I push in the cigarette lighter or try to use the AC outlet for my gps/phone charger it blows it immediately.
I pulled the console out and I didn't see any exposed wires, however the cigarette socket seems to be pretty worn. But I didn't see that to be too important seeing how to AC outlet also blows the fuse.
Oh I ended up buy a new cigarette lighter because it looked worn and I figured I would try that first, didn't help...
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I actually ended up fixing the problem. There was too much corrosion on the battery terminals and on the wires coming off of the battery. I poured distilled water mixed with baking powder on any area that was corroded. However, I ended up buying 10 15a fuses for testing, cost $10. And I only used one... Well, I have a few for the future.
