200 HP isn't THAT hard to hit. Are you trying for 200 HP at the flywheel or at the wheels?

a basic intake and exhaust will give an easy 20-30 hp gain

well 200 hp is not hard to hit. I myself have mine supercharged at 11psi,about 230whp but it took alot of money to get there. so your pockets better run deep. I just got mine on a dyno with only tuning a/f ratio and ignition timing right now. i still gotta take it back to get it finished. Also for everyone else that reads this whenever you use a dynodynamics dyno it will read 10-20% lower than all others so my # is is with this correction. if you wanna talk at crank its about 285 -300hp.

Personally, why would you bother? It' s a big, heavy, FWD car? Start off with something that is more suited for modding, imo.

umm no it wont... on a dyno intake and exhaust on a N\A car will only get you about 10-15WHP gain Honestly they dont do a hole lot just enough to make a small difference

I concur! I have intake manifold, cold air, and a full exhaust and all I've got is a 20 hp gain. do like the other guy said and just buy something better. only reason I did anything to my galant is cuz my other car broke.

If you want to swap a motor then use a motor from a EVO IV to EVO VIII. If you want to turbo then you can use parts off of DSM's. Visit www.galantforums.com and will show you how. We won't tell you it is not worth it or get some other car....
