First Time Owner 1999 Galant V6 ES
Hi All,
I just bought a 1999 Galant V6 ES with 105k on the odometer. This is my first Mitsubishi, and so far I'm pretty impressed. MSN Autos had great things to say about the reliability, and the car seems solid and well cared for. I didn't have time to do any in-depth research before buying it, which is why I'm here now . This is an open call to any and all advice, FYIs, and words of wisdom.
Also after looking around this forum a bit, it looks like there are more performance options available than on my Volvo 240, and I'd be interested in any "First-Step" performance mods that I can add.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Hmmm nice motor.
Simple mods that you can try..
If it has a turbo, leave it alone, highly strung...
Pay for a remap, very good oil change, would only use Amsoil...
If it NA (normal aspiration)
Air intake system, (you ned to have a mild bend in the pipe between the filter and MAF - You need to change the shape of the air flow or you will get over
fueling and fuel cuts).
That said you will use a lot more fuel - but well worth it...
Backbox / Muffler.
Better suspension, Mitsi springs are Sh*t...
Bigger front brakes, the fronts off of an evo 5 should fit.
