Why not just buy a car with one?

 

well like u said do u know of any 4-bangers with a supercharger on it? no so its gonna b hard to buy one with it on lol...neways with the supercharger u know u will need a new fuel line, new fuel pumps, most likely a new fuel/air ratio and so on

 

4cyl= low enough compression to where a supercharger could help quite a bit

6cyl= compression high enough that with boost you would only be able to go about 6 psi before you had to start filling up at the air port

either way too much money to spend on ANY car that you plan on driving to work or school

ps. why would you want a supercharged car? they are all punily tuned unless you're talking about a Cobra and the only cars I seen with factory installed superchargers (spare TRD) is Buick
