Clutch is slipping. How many miles are on the car? (Me thinks close to 100k?)

Wow man you took good care of the car huh? Thats a long time for a clutch to last. So, dont be pissed that you have to change it. Time for a clutch change : )

Also, when you change the clutch you have to either replace the flywheel or get it resurfaced. In your case, resurfacing it will be just fine.

I recomend searching around for quotes on this. Never go for the first.

Good luck : )

His car is an automatic not stick.

Check the trans fluid and see if it smells burnt. Mind you the fluid should smell clean and the color should be red. The clutches in the trans might be burning up.
