Default Idle issue

2004 Galant ES 2.4

When i stop a lights or a stop sign, the idle surges and drops to basically nothing. It fully stalled twice. Its been at the dealer for 2 weeks as they try to diagnose it (a jeep dealer where i bought it). No check engine light, or error codes. dealer thought it was the MAF, which would make sense, i believe they cleaned it and then ordered a new one.

Issue still happened with the new part. and they then moved to the Throttle body, i am guessing the IAC motor?

What is you guys' take on this? i am getting kind of frustrated since the issue of course didn't happen until after i left the dealer

Is it while you're coming to a stop, or when you've been sitting for a bit?

Try the cheap stuff. Yank out your spark plugs and see what they look like.
