I am wanting to buy a intake manifold made for a 95-99 eclipse N/T 2.0l. could this fit on my 2003 galant 2.4l.

 

No... RIPP mods is currently developing an intake manifold for the 24L (4G64)... The engine parts from an Eclipse 2000-2005 2.4L is the same engine from the 8G 1999-2003 Galant 2.4L (4G64) will work... not from a 2G Eclipse.

 

actually i just found that every part except for the pistons can be swapped a 4g64 2.4l and a 4g63 2.0l. Also the spyder came out with a 2.4l in 1996.

 

Engine is still turned 180.....

Also the 4G63 and 4G64 is two totally different engines.. Who told you this I would like to do some more research?

 

i, think 4g63 stuff aint goin to fit your 4g64 ....its two diffrent engines.( check the 63 set up and compare it to 64 set up....)

 

thats what I did and the set up is the same. so my head should work with a 4g63 custom itake manild because one is they both face the same. also prophet agrees that a 4g63t manifold fit a 4g64 spyder because they are turned 180 degress. but i will test it out let you guys know hopefully next week.

hi i am new here you say it is the same motor in the 2002 galant as in the eclipse . so could you buy a upgraded computer for the galant that are originally for the eclipse? and would that hold true for the stand alone fuel managemant system? one of my good firends had a turbo talon and he has this really nice fuel managemant program that he could get for a no turbo eclipse of the same year as my galant. so i was just wonder if that would work on my car.

 

Are we talking about a stand alone for a 3G Eclipse (2000-2005) and upgraded ECU for the same generation to be used on a 8G Galant?

 

i don't know all the gen stuff but he could get me a stand alone for a 2.4l 2002 eclipse. i was just wondering if that would work in my 2002 galan es with the 2.4l? and where would be a good place to look up parts?
