Hi!,
I have a 2005 Galant, that my wife snapped off the rear door handle. That doesn't seem to bad, but the real problem is, I have the child lock switched on and I can't open the door from the inside. Where should I start? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Excuse me, I find this hilarious.

See if you can hook the cable that actuates the door lock, give it a yank and it should do the trick. You may need to shred the remains of the door handle.
