The previous owner of my 2000 Galant apparently killed the battery at one time and didn't have the code to enter for the radio to unlock. I tried to pull the radio out myself but was unsuccessful. I was told in order to get the code, you have to have the serial & model numbers from the radio. I happened to find a sticker inside the glove box with a serial & model number on it. The bottom of the sticker says Mitsubishi Electric Corp. Japan. I'm hoping this is it. Does anyone know if this is it? It would really help as I was told by our local dealership that they would have to take the whole dash apart to get the radio out and would charge $ 125.00! YIKES! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
